The complex hosts 2 distinct schools under one roof; students from grade 6 to 8 occupy Le Mascaret school while students from grade 9 to 12 occupy L’Odyssée school. Each school has its own educational system with the resource centre and the kitchen being the only shared functions.

The concept was to orientate classroom wings north-south to allow direct sunlight daily in each classroom, either in the morning or in the afternoon. Laboratory wings are gathered around the gymnasiums and the cafeterias which occupy the core of the building. Finally, the resource centre distinctively separates the entrances to each school.
